Desert Island Studios launched a new program initiative created in partnership with Oregon Made Creative Foundation called Damn Good People.
Damn Good People is a DEI focused concierge staffing service facilitated by Desert Island Studios that matches mid to advanced level production creatives and technicians with production jobs in Oregon. Our list represents a talented community of professionals from historically underrepresented communities in the film/tv/commercial industry.
The program provides personalized support to the professionals we staff onto productions through an HR support pipeline as a way to cultivate better mentorship in our community. In addition, our service includes a short production industry-focused DEI Accountability Workshop training for producers, production companies, and dept heads that partner with Damn Good People for their hiring needs.
